Jersey’s Blue Island airline is extending its routes to Manchester from Guernsey and Jersey on 31 October. The service will fly daily, from Guernsey via Jersey.
The flight leaves Guernsey at 9.25 Monday to Friday, departing Jersey at 10.15. The flight from Manchester leaves at 12.15. On Sunday the service starts at 10.10 from Guernsey, leaving Jersey at 11.40. The Sunday flight from Manchester leaves at 13.40.
The price for the Manchester flight at the moment is from £49.
Blue Island has become popular in the Channel Islands because it is one of the low-cost airlines which does not have add-ons for credit card payments, extra luggage, excess luggage or changes to the booking up to two hours before departure.
It has services to Bristol, Geneva, Isle of Man, London City, Southampton and Zurich.
Manchester is not only a good destination for travel to the north of England and Wales but it is also an international hub for many international flights, especially to Europe.
